Each year, on the last Sunday in June, Staple plays host to the Staple Country Fayre. (Held at the Recreation Ground /
Village Hall.
A small army of regular helpers work tirelessly to ensure that the events are always a resounding success.
The Fayres are organised by a small committee.
The current committee comprises: John Kirk, David Facey, Penny Hislop, Billy Morgan, Carol Kirk, Jill Boyd, Neil Bennett, Lisa Strickland and Paul Shaw.
Committee meetings are regularly held throughout the year at The Black Pig, Barnsole.
Staple Youth Club:
Staple Youth Club (a member of UK Youth) is a small, friendly organisation; staffed entirely by volunteers who are DBS checked and first aid trained.
They cater for children aged 7-14 from all parishes.
Staple Youth Club meets each Friday from 7pm till 9pm during school term time at Staple Village Hall; and cost per session is £2.00
Come along and see Angela and Mark Chandler, Glenn Missons, Jo Little, Heidi Graves or Leanne Clifton for further details, any Friday (during term time) at Staple village hall.
Some of the activities that members have been able to enjoy at Staple Youth Club, include: Jaws and Claws, design a T-shirt, bingo, quiz nights, movie and milkshakes, Tag Rugby from Ash Rugby Club, BBQs, s’more and pizza making, crafts, Christmas disco and very successful outings to Tides in Deal, Laser Rush and adventure golf at Rascal Bay.
Staple Youth Club is fortunate to have a great bunch of young people, who are always congratulated on their manners and good behaviour wherever they go. A real testament to all of its members.
The Youth Club's youth workers are volunteers (including former members) who give up their time to make a difference to so many children from Staple and the surrounding villages.

Meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Black Pig, Barnsole.
You don't have to have served in the Armed Forces to become a member, only to have the aims and objectives of The Legion at heart
comradeship, welfare, representation and remembrance.
